    Been getting into making my own spinners. Anyone here make their own spinners. Was looking for some help have a couple of questions.
    what size clevis goes with what size blades ?
    If your a fisherman and know what it is like to go fishing. Then you know what it is like to get HOOKED...
    Weather it's just like Fishing.........

    You know when you start you'll catch the bug I started with spinners then fly tying not that I fly fish but I tie bucktails to add to the spinners then started too make my own lures its great when you catch a fish on something you made.

    Was making some Joe flies. I made one but for some reason the blade isn't spinning very well. Trying to figure out sizes. Like what size clevis to what size blade. Also should the hole of the clevis be bigger than the wire diameter. Just right now been experimenting a little.

    The wire should slide very easy into the holes of the clevis its like a 12 ft ladder going into a 12 ft room it won't fit.
    Where do you buy your parts.

    I get most of my stuff from Janns netcraft thay have starter kits with everything you need but you'll want to get a wire former for the eyes and a split ring pliers they are sold separately

    Looking at some parts on eBay. My gander mountain went out of business so I got a lot of stuff from there very cheap.

    Just checked them out they look like they are reasonable priced and have a good selection.
    So I'm guessing a size 3 clevis should fit a size 3 blade.
