    I just edited my post #10 in this thread as i have replaced both my fly reels with Orvis models. I LOVE them. Far superior to the Daiwa and Ross reels they replaced.

    I did not know one could spend up to $75.00 for a zebco spincast. They must be better than what I used as a kid.

    I like my Pflueger Patriarch and Patriarch xt for baitcasters. Most of my spinning reels are Okuma Metalloids that are 10 years old. I have a variety of rods. I have slowly replaced my Fenwick Eagle Gt's over the years , which I believe is one of the best rods in it's price range.($60.00)

    Spin cast is my new choice. Bait and spinning getting very little use anymore.

    I primarily use a spinning rod, but i am progressively using my baitcaster more and more as i get better with it.

    Now, only spinning reels. Used to fly fish but haven't done it in years. Will probably take my dads old South Bend fly rod out of retirement and give it ago once again. Grandpa's old Montague stays locked up!
