For 51 weeks a year I am land locked in Indiana. For 1 week a year I fish and crab the Jersey shore. Below was caught on surf rod set up. Will post my blue fish catches later.

    Nice action shots V.
There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot.

Even if you've been fishing for three hours and haven't gotten anything except poison ivy and sunburn, you're still better off than the worm.

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.

I have topwaterking..My wife makes a Spanish dish called Ceviche with the little "cocktail" blues...It's really good. The bigger ones in my opinion aren't that good, too oily.

Right on! Yes I agree, ive even tried fresh cut an right on the ice but it doesn't help the taste of the bigger blues much. Heck yeah, love Ceviche! Sometimes we would mix it up fresh on the boat an eat it on the ride back to shore haha

When I was young my dad tied my lines, then after some time I tied his. Now I am forced to tie my own but we will always fish together.
