Report Columbia River Fishing Report 6/13/10 China Bend/Dalles Orchard

Freshwater Angler
Date: 6/13/10
Bait: Worm
Species: Walleye
Tackle: Jigs
Color: Chartreuse, White, Dark Green
Method: jigging
Method 2:
Weather: Hot
Water Temp: 55 F
Depth: 20-40 FT

I headed out onto the Columbia River. Most guys said the walleye were up by Dalles Orchard, so I launched at China Bend. I jigged around the Island and got a few Walleye on a chartreuse Jig. An hour passed and we only caught a few walleye, so I headed up to the Dalles. All of us caught our limit. Chartreuse, Dark Green, and white jigs worked the best. What we did was go up to the Dalles(not in) and drifted with the current and jigged. The fish was from 20-40 feet of water but most of the ones we caught were from 25-30 feet.

If you want a picture of the exact jigs, the time of day they work, and exact location of walleye, Send me a PM.

Good Luck,
