Thank You WillCFish. I am always interested in the efforts our managers go to in order to keep our natural resources at their best. Kudo's to the Iowa DNR and the folks at the Spirit Lake Fish Hatchery! ^! Those are some huge fish

I've caught Northern Pike and Walleye but never a Muskie. Guess it's on my bucket list along with the Grayling. All I need is a little one :D to take his/her picture and let him/her go right where I found it.

Thanks Jerry,
They do a great job. I also videod them stripping eggs in 2013 and that was fun. I'd like to go out gill netting with them some night.
My wife and I caught 3 muskies in under and hour on the full moon with sunset and moonrise minutes apart. I got a 44 and she a 49" 20 minutes apart and a half hour later I got the 53" which is my PB. Wicked weather kept me off the water for the same scenario night before last but we have a week of fishing coming up soon. Great fun!
