Have not used this lure in quite some time until this spring.

I just love the teeth marks on the lure. It gives it some serious character. Now it is my go to lure.

This pike from today crushed it.

This pike from 10 days ago liked the same lure.

This smallie from this year earlier fell for the same lure. It must be the sound chambers and the swimming motion mimicking an injured bait fish. I am sold on this lure and there are 4 of them in my tackle box currently.

Great pics Len.^! That shot of the 'trap clearly shows you're catching "toothy critters"!:D I too am a huge fan of lipless cranks...and although I have a few of those Bill Lewis offerings...I tend to fish Cotton Cordell's Super Spot. Partly because of the low price, but mostly because its the only lipless crank on the market that offers a suspending model. In early spring here...I work them over grass beds...rip it real fast...then pause...then rip again. The strike almost always comes on the pause. It will just hang there, for however long you can stand it.-Waiting- Here's a look at the color I use most...and that fish is the first bass I caught this year...on the Texas Red Shad color.<><

I have the same lure in my arsenal but have had zero luck with it on the lake here. Next time I go to the pond though I'll be sure to give it a go.

Also Cotton Cordells have some LETHALLY sharp hooks. I know because I got one in me while trying to open the package without getting one in me. I was incredibly lucky that a) I still have a reasonably thick and calloused hide & b) the barb didn't penetrate because of "a". I say that in "b" because even for that little bit of money I still am not breaking the barb off or cutting the hook. That would have been a very painful lesson indeed.

But hey, at least then I could say I caught something on it the day I opened the package, lol.
