I will start with my 3 Favorite Fishing Photos but I am NOT entering the Contest.

Photo #1 is of my Oldest Son with a Bass caught at Moraine State Park. Always a bonus when you can get out and Fish with your Son's. The picture was taken last year at a favorite Fishing spot. We didn't do to bad that day and landed a few nice Bass.

Photo #2 is my Youngest Son with a Catfish caught trolling Erie Deeries at Moraine. Guess you could call this Photo Catfish Whisper cause He was talking back and forth with the Catfish to findout where the Biggins were..LOL. We got the secret down to catching Channel Cats at Moraine.

Photo #3 is of Me Fishing opening day of Trout a few years ago. Its a tradition to head up to Tionesta and Fish the many Creeks/Streams that are up there. I think in all the years I have been Fishing I have missed 2 opening days of Trout in PA.

Cool

Hey...this sounds like fun! OK...here is my first pic...it is me with two channel cats I caught on a crankbait while bass fishing. Sometimes the cats will really respond to crankbaits, and when they do, you'll forget all about the bass!

This next pic is a shot of Paint Creek reservoir...from the handicapped pier...where I take my dad crappie fishing. It is so beautiful there, we don't even care if they are biting or not...its fun to just spend time there!

Last is a pic of a vintage Pflueger Summit...just like the one my grandpa had. They don't make 'em like that anymore...and they don't make 'em like him either!

These are my favorite.
1st. Is BGG. This is not only the first fish she caught that night. She caught it on my pole.
2nd The first fish she caught on her pole that night 2 or 3 mins after she had caught one with my pole.
3rd Another gill she caught, She out fished he dad that night.

I remember this night like it was yesterday, We were at the Kings River. This was the first time I had taken her fishing at this spot. While I was baiting her hook She said Daddy, your getting a hit, your bobber is under the water.
The next thing I know she is telling me dont worrie I have the fish.
I took the picture, she cast her line out in the water, Before I could get my line back in she was reeling in
her second fish of the night.
We caught a few fish on that trip. We had a lot of laughs, made many unforgetable memories.
She had bragging rites for a few weeks for this trip. Each time she repeted the story to her friends
She did it in a true fishman style. The fish got bigger, she caught more and I caught less.
No matter how the story is told. All you have to do is look at the smile on her face, and you know the story.

Part of my fishing passion is eating what I catch but I do release way more than I keep!!
And I don't allways got to catch fish to have a good time fishing but it sure helps !
Fishing with my daughter Ruby is the best time on the water I could spend!!
and just to show ya I had as much fun catching that little bait stealer as I did this lake Trout!!

First pic is a 26 pound channel cat drifting cut bait on a local pond. Amazing catch considering no one even knew there were catfish in that place. I coulda swore I "smelled" catfish, and sure enough, my hunch paid off!
Second pic is a typical Nebraska largemouth. Lots of nice bass here, and they can make for a great day of fishing!
Third, we have a nice northern caught through the ice on a local reservoir. Nothing beats feeling that weight and then getting a look at one a few feet down in clear water!
I love catching fish no matter the species, but sometimes I just lay down the rod, sit back and take in the scenery,....and thank God for the opportunity to enjoy nature!

Talking

OK, here are 3 of my favorites. First we have ShiloFishRox on her first fishing trip baiting her own hook with squid to catch catfish. She was 10 at the time. Then there is my favorite fishing spot on Canyon Lake where I'll be fishing April 6-7 with a channel cat I caught there. Last is ShiloFishRox last year at Bartlett Lake with a big smile for a little fish. She was 11 on this trip.I have 2 fish she caught on this trip in my aquarium, a bluegill and a channel cat that were tiny then. They are both 8" long now and growing. The fish in the photo is one of them.
