Default Recent Site Update

Hey fella's,

Good to be back on top of things with this "interesting weather" and all. This time we got some new stuff rolling out of the garage. Here is a quick outline to keep you informed:

#1) Sponsors and Feedback Forums!
Now, we already told you all about our new sponsors. We want you to stay tuned in on what they have to offer. Some of this stuff is just neat! Supporting them also means you are supporting us! Some of our sponsors are even stepping up to the plate with some upcoming giveaways.

With new sponsors, we have new "Vendor - Business to Customer" forums, or "feedback forums" for short. These new forums allow OF members to stay in touch with our sponsors. If you have questions, suggestions, product reviews, other information, etc, by all means, post it there! >> Click here to see the forums. <<
Note: These can also be navigated through the forum page by going to the Fishing Social area category (very bottom).

#2) Blog - Under Construction

Ok, let us be honest here, blogging is a whole new fishing-talk dimension. What makes them so unique is that you can post anything from stories, short summaries of what you've been working on, videos, photos, and any thing else you think is worth recording. At this point, the blog is not 100% functional. Yes, you can still make a blog post (Blogs>> Your Blog>> Options on the left >> "Post to your blog"), but after making a post, you will be redirected to a page saying "Database Error".

If you do decide to make a blog post, we can't guarantee that it will not be deleted in the next few days. However, for testing purposes, feel free to check things out.

Keep on the look out for a post regarding any updates for the blog.

We also have stuff "moving" around, and we have recently cut back on our ad banners (specifically on the homepage and at the very bottom). If you have any questions or comments regarding any of these updates, feel free to post here, or the support forums found HERE.

Default Blog has been updated.

The Blogging feature has been updated and is working. Thanks Tech for updating this. So now everyone can start using the Blog. As Fish Hook said,"Blogging is a whole new fishing-talk dimension. What makes them so unique is that you can post anything from stories, short summaries of what you've been working on, videos, photos, and any thing else you think is worth recording."
