All right Davey Boy . Wish I could carve like that . But I lack the discipline to stay at it that long . That is why I don't do crank baits . To darn tedious . No self respecting fish is gonna let that pass .

Well Mo, you are Mr. Frog. By Monday I expect to see results posted here.

Hee hee...well...the topwater bite has dried up here b or b. Actually, the entire bite has dried up! Right now all I can get a bite on is finesse plastics, and even that is slow. The topwater bite should pick up here later in the fall...so maybe then I'll break out db's frog. I am anxious to see the swimming action...may have to fill up that bathtub.

It looks good without front legs. I don't think you need to but if you watch the front legs of the frog when it's resting in the water they just kinda dangle there. Maybe a little plastic dangling down in front would make it a little more realistic but I don't think not having them would stop a Bass from attacking. Can't wait to see the finished product!

We had a member who was very active named dbarnette1 but due to poor health has been absent for some time now. He is a master at hand carving wooden lures. I have a couple of his designs as does Mo. They are not for sale.
