One of my buddies in my fishing club and I are assembling 9 weight fly rod rigs to fish for flathead catfish this summer. Flatheads on the fly! woo hoo!

I'm going with shad and sunfish imitations, like the Puglisi Pinfish fly, which is a dead ringer for a bluegill, large white fur and feather streamer flies to imitate shad, and I'm going to look for any extra large bronze/brown/gold streamer that imitates a small carp.
