Default Stormy Skies and lots of bass

Went bass fishing with one of my kayak tournament partners Andy and daughter. Passing storms kept the DSLR in the storage compartment, but I did manage to pull in some interesting shots:

Tornado sirens went off. No need to stop now, we be a fishin

Yep, there's a bass in there!

One quick shot before the camera goes in the bin

Home sweet home

Good things come to those who wait

Fishing during the storm was UNREAL I caught well over 30 bass and 3 of them were over 20 inches. Andy also had a 30 bass day and caught his personal best just after the storm, 21 inches.

While I'm not a bass fisherman, I have pushed the envelope when fishing in stormy weather. Some of the most productive fishing times I've had came while others were running over each other to get off the water. while I love any kind of fishing I mainly fish for Crappie and Cats. I Have had days when the Crappie were slow then all of a sudden a storm would start brewing and the Crappie would go wild. Love your pics!

Thanks Bass, we had our hands on the panic button for a while. Fortunately, the spot where we were at had a good skyline, and we could see if anything real bad came. The hair raising part was when the tornado sirens went off, but we saw no hail or lightening.

What the heck, no guts, no glory... (in other words, what could go wrong?) hahah
