Yesterday on Sirius satellite radio, they were talking to someone from North Carolina State University, or University of North Carolina, and the spokesperson said they were organizing as many people as possible at a specific time in the afernoon, to meet at the Andy Griffith statue (don't know exactly where that is) and whistle "The Fishin' Hole" together.

Dat news brought a tear to my eye as it was just another thing of my youth gone and one more fine American gone to that Big fishing hole in the Heavens ,,, R.I.P. Andy!!

I saw the last movie he was in . I said then this is probably the last movie He will make . Sadly I was right . I would trade any talents I might have for his ability to make you laugh , feel at home and find peace with yourself . There are a lot of great actors . Andy stands alone at the top of the class original and un changed .
