Biggest Yet
Went out and did a little fishing this evening and though the bite was not there I did manage to come across what has got to be the biggest spider I have ever seen in these parts. I have no idea what kind it is, all I can tell you is it looked like it could tackle you and put a real hurting on you. Just wish I had my other camera with me but do to the rain I left it home
If anyone happens to know what kind this is please post it up.... |

You got some good shots of that spider. I believe that is a golden garden spider. They are quite large and quite harmless I'm told. Spiders that big creep me out, harmless or not!

.gif "Thumbs Up!") Corn Spider is what we call them here.They have Huge webs and are fun to watch. Web on a friends house was 5' x 6', we would catch grasshoppers and toss them in, WOW is all I can say!! My Daughter was bitten once by one in the fall cleaning up sticks . Nasty Bite! .gif "Fish")
