I do a lot of warm water fly fishing. Bluegill, crappie, bass, yellow bass. The waters these fish live in ,in my area anyway, are prone to algea blooms. Add to that all the other debris found in the water and my fly lines soon become coated with all sorts of material. I've tried a variety of comercial line cleaners and none seem to do a very good job. Any ideas?

Yep! All my fishing, fly and otherwise, is warm water too. Try using moist baby wipes. They are made to clean up the nasty stuff from baby's bottom and still be gentle enough to keep baby happy. They will do the same for your fly lines
. Happy Fishing!

Good tip b or b!!!
panfish, what you said is precisely why I won't use my silk lines in warm water. Doggone stuff does get nasty.

Bass or Bass- never tried nor even thought of that before.
But it makes very good sense. My wife is going shopping tomorrow and I've already had her add it to the list. Thanks a lot!
