Hevellacrispa: Those old tackle appraisals are fun! Kinda like "Antiques Roadshow" but just with fishing tackle. Expect a crowd! I know the first couple guys doing the appraising. Mike Hines, in particular, has a huge collection and a lot of knowledge. I've done appraisals like that many times. I always hated to tell people that their tackle had a lot on interest, but was more valuable as keepsakes than as collector's items. Loved to tell some that their stuff was highly collectible and was worth... (pause as everyone would listen)... and then give a figure in the hundreds of dollars! Sometimes they'd sell to me, sometimes they would just be stunned and say they'd "call me" (I waited once for 5 years for a guy to call back--- and he DID!). Just remember, MOST old lures and reels are just that. And for one reason or another are worth only a few dollars. Many are worth 20-50, Some $100 or so, but few are worth "hundreds".
