A quick update of what's been happening lately and what the "big-plans" are for the future. Lately, the goal has been to improve things already established and running on OF.
A quick "run-down" of the "highlights" for now:
1) Newsletter- Thanks to JoeW, the newsletter has been a very good read so far. Our apologies in advance for those that haven't received the last issue. We're working on updating the "newsletter sender" to make things work more efficiently. Right now we can only offer a basic "text-only" newsletter but do have plans to change this for the future.
2) Homepage Slideshow - Honestly, this has been a bit "dull" for the past few weeks. The original software makes it hard to update things without prior experience in basic html coding. For this reason we're limited on who can update the slideshow. We're looking into different solutions and plan to make a change very soon.
3) Outdoor-Fishing Rules - A new page is now being created which will display the rules in a table format. This should make the rules easy to access, easy to understand, and easy to follow and enforce for both the members and staff.
4) Our goal is to always bring something new and create the best fishing forum on the web. Apart from the tasks listed above we're always updating stuff! If you see something new, feel free to comment and add your ideas!:cool:
