This is Gabe. Last spring, Gabe was 5, we were driving down to a private pond we crappie fish. Gabe yelled something and flew out the door of the Jeep while we were driving (only a couple miles per hour). We didn't know what he yelled or where he went until we got stopped. He found this beauty of a morel sticking out of some tall grass by the driving path. he was pretty excited he spotted it all by himself! :D

Ha Ha, doodah! How come I was always the one doing the "hauling" when I'd take my kids fishing! Maybe having two gals made the difference-- as in.. "I'm not gonna carry the worms, I'm not going to put the worm on the hook, I'm not going to touch that squirmy fish". But they sure liked catching them! Love them both, and I enjoyed every minute! :) that's the joys of having BOYS! they LOVE to fish and the LOVE to go to the river so if they want to go, they know they have to help! they are usually more than willing (until it gets too hard that is) but the road to the river is long and now it's covered in DEEP sand from all of the flooding this year. sometimes they can't pull the wagon very good...but they give it one heck of a try :)

My son Tavaris catching a fish. Our family likes to go camping and fishing a lot. So my kids have enjoyed fishing since birth. He has been able to put his own pole together and bait it since he was 4. He enjoys going down further then us that way he can fish in peace. :p

Here is a picture of Myka, one of my other sons, with a few catfish, a bass, and a couple bream he caught one afternoon fishing with me. He really tore me up that day and I WILL NEVER HEAR THE END OF IT!!
