My best Brown...

Sometimes when steelhead fishing, there's a stray Brown Trout hanging around with them. Here's one! 25", just short of 8 pounds-- my best Brown Trout ever. Came just after releasing a 10 lb. Steelhead, and then added another smaller released Steelie! All in all, a pretty good morning! Love those Late Fall Trout coming up out of Lake Erie! Best------ JoeW

Naw, I wish it had been. I was on a big creek, it was running high, and so I decided to spin fish. All three taken on a 3/8 oz. chartreuse Little Cleo spoon, from shore. I tell ya- I had that brown on for 20 minutes before she ever showed- I thought it had to be a 20 Steelhead! What a bull! I took just two this Fall (very short season because of water levels) on a fly rod, both around 4-5 pounds, on my favorite- a White Boo fly I make! Long haul now until I fish again!:( Best---- JoeW
