Water Temp: 35 Degrees F
Speed: 4-5 mph
I decided to go fishing on saturday. It was a beautiful saturday morning so I got my boat and headed for Rock Lake. I did some spinning with some spinners but they wouldnt bite. Finally I decided to troll. I hooked a Rapala crankbait and started trolling the surface about 10 feet from the shore on the right side of the lake. I trolled at 4-5 mph. At first I trolled slow but it didnt work so I trolled faster. I got three nice Browns. The lake is beautiful. Guys from the shore did not have any luck on rainbow trout because the Rainbows in Rock Lake went up to the creek, that heads toward Bonnie lake, to spawn. Many other guys caught browns. It was a great day!!
