I guess it would also help to remove the wood if you are part termite.LOL
I am really enjoying these.
I have some pine thats been dry for a couple of years. as soon as I find my scroll saw
I will start cutting out some blanks.
I know you will be covering the painting of this lure, Just woundering if powder paint would work
on the wood, or would it start to burn before it got p to the right temp.??

The wood will darken . But it can be done with harder woods . Cedar some pines ect . have a low flash point in the wood resins . So be careful not to exceed 350 degrees by much .
