I had to get up at 5:30am because I promised my Dad I would go to the warm water discharge area on the Susquehanna River with him.

We had to get me rigged up with a chartreuse green jighead with a yellow Honeyworm. To rig a honeyworm you will have to take the fat end of the honeyworm and put it on the jig to make it look like the honeyworm has a different head.

Red Honey worm rigged
I had to wait for my waders because it took my Dad a long time to put his rod together and put his reel on and put his waders on. We went to our first spot and the sun was starting to come out. But no luck in this spot so we moved down to the next spot we go to move down and we saw bald eagles in a tree.

We move down to the next spot I get hung up in this spot so we had to re-rig me up with an orange jig head which is 1/64 oz. with 4-5 maggots. To rig a maggot you will have to take the end that looks like two eyes (they really aren’t eyes), and gently stick them on the jig and leave a little bit of the end.

I go to my favorite spot we were fishing for Bluegill, and Crappie. In this spot I got 4 hits. Then my Dad says “let’s call it a day”. We did not catch any fish. :(
THE END
