If you ever want to design your own lure, (thanks to JoeW), I came upon a site that allows you to create your own custom lures!

You can design many wonderful traps!

Great site! Just spent 20 minutes designing my own traps- none of which I think would catch fish, but who knows! Kinda pricey on a pension. I think I'll stick to the store-bought Chrome/Blue. Fun site to visit, though! Best---- JoeW

I just checked out that site and I had a couple questions for you Razor. I noticed that there baits look way more real. How did yours look compared to a stock Rat l trap? Did you get yours yet ? How close did it come out to the design you made on the site? Exactly or close? the lakes I fish have extreme fishing pressure so my lures have to look real and your presentation must be perfect. No offense but your lure would probably never work at my home lakes.

I must agree i don't think the ones they let you design are as real as the ones they offer. I think that I am still going to try. It would be cool to catch a fish with a lure you designed.

If you do send for one please post a picture of it after you receive it and also a picture of the First Fish you catch on it. Curious to see how they do turn out.

Ripper- Yea, I noticed that, too. I'd like to see chrome as a background color. I fish a lot in the dark stained water in Ontario and the lures need flash i.e. Chrome/Blue! A scale pattern would help, too! But I think these options wuld be expensive to add.

Nothing like catching fish on your own lures! I've tied my own Trout, Bass, and Steelhead flies and made in-line spinners for years and it's great to see one of your ideas pay off on the water!
